On Oct. 2nd and 3rd (Friday afternoon and Saturday), the Town of Nipawin will offer its 5th annual “Outpour Weekend,” with the EBC congregation volunteering to serve our community.

Our teams (of roughly 3-5) will serve either on Friday from 3-8pm or Saturday from 9am-4pm. Please sign up for the day that suits you. Each group will be given a list of homes & addresses they will serve at, including any information about each home that is necessary. If you are available for only a portion of one of the days, please sign up and we will organize the teams/tasks based on your availability.

There will be a couple of small changes this year to make sure we are COVID compliant, including not doing indoor work, and not holding the Saturday supper BBQ at EBC like we’ve done recent years

Outpour Weekend is such an opportunity to meet our community and serve them with the love of Christ. We will help with yard work, and potentially some small maintenance jobs (no major repairs) or other reasonable requests, all free of charge. We will also plan to hand out info to each home about EBC about who we are, making sure they feel welcome to join us. Depending on time, we may also serve the town through cleanup at parks or ditches.

Anyone who attends EBC who’d like help in their own home (please feel welcome to let us serve you!!!) should fill out an Outpour Weekend request form available from the Nipawin town office.

NBC students will be excused for regular meal times, and EBC congregants are welcome to take meal breaks.

Welcome to Emmanuel Baptist Church

We’re located in Nipawin, SK, and meet at 103 Tindall Ave, just outside of town on the way to the Regional Park. Our Sunday morning service starts at 10:30 am, but you can come any time after 9:30 for a warm cup of coffee and good conversation.

“Emmanuel” means “God with us,” and we really believe this is true. Because God sent his son Jesus to die for our sins, we can know Him as our Father and be a part of His family. Nothing would bring us more joy than to help you know God in this way.

Take a look around our site to find out more about who we are, and how we can serve you!
