Our goal for our Young Adults Ministries is to make disciples (learners) of Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20) by teaching the word of God to the next generation (Psalm 78:4-7), in order that they might be lifelong disciples (learners) of Jesus who will then pass it on to the generation after them (Psalm 71:17-18).

“Young Adults” are what we call our Grade 7-12s. We want to encourage them to rise above a culture of low expectations and take their place in the world as vital participants in God’s mission.

Here are some of the specific ways we carry out this vision:

Wednesday Evenings

  • Bible Studies. Every other Wednesday evening of each month (from September to June), we meet from 6:30-9:00pm for small-group Bible studies.
  • Service Nights. On one Wednesday each month, we go out into our community to serve. We’ve partnered with local organizations like the Oasis Community Centre and the Salvation Army to show love to our neighbours in practical ways.
  • Event Nights. On one Wednesday of each month we gather from 6:30-9:00pm for a fun event—think Fear Factor, or Nerf Night. We believe that there is significant value in the relationships we build though these times.

Sunday Mornings

  • We encourage the Gr. 7-12s who don’t have another home church to join us on Sunday mornings. Our services start at 10:00 am.
